Instructions for Use
Welcome to the Infiniti custom web page editor. A simple and easy method of updating your website that does not require any specialist web design knowledge.
To edit a webpage:-
- Login to the web page editor (username and password required).
Contact mark@infinitimixedmedia.com for access.
- Choose a web page to edit from the pull down menu at the top of the page and click the Open button (if required). Eg. index.html
- Navigate to an editable region (known as a Snippet) on the webpage. These are indicated by a dashed red border and a pink background. Click the Edit button in the selected region.
- An editor window will pop up so you can edit the text of that region. Make any adjustments that you require and then click Save to save your changes and edit another region if required.
- When all necessary changes have been made, click the Save & Close button in the bar at the top of the screen. This will apply all of the changes to your website files and return you to the front end.

This area is editable, here are some hints and tips as an example.
- It is usually easiest to type in all of your text first and then apply the bold, italic and underline effects afterwards.
- Don't worry about adding styles to your content (like typeface and colour etc), this is done automatically by Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) in the front end of the website.
- To create a new paragraph in the editor, just press Return. However, to start a new line without beginning a new paragraph, hold down Shift and then press Return.
- When adding bullet points, pressing Return once adds a new bullet point. Pressing Return twice breaks out of the bullet point list and starts a new paragraph.
- After you have edited your webpage(s) and saved your changes, always check through the website carefully to make sure no typos have slipped through.
